October 31, 200718 yr A- to a B+ so far. It would have been an A+ if not for the SC and Miss State games. They are better than expected. If they can go 2-1 or 3-0 down the stretch, then an A would be my grade. Most hoped for 6 wins at the best this season and they already have that. How can anyone possibly say this season has been a disappointment based on 1 really bad game and 1 game with a few mistakes. Other than that, they have been above expectations.

The talk before the season began was that they would have to play better than last year to have near the same results with a strength of schedule that went from #23 to #11 in the country. As a whole, they have taken a big step forward and need to finish strong to maintain the momentum they gained this season.
October 31, 200718 yr I thought that they were a solid B . . .even a B+ . . .but at best are a C+ now....with the next 3 if they go 1-2, thye might be able to stay at a C-.. What do you give Louisville a zero? I know UK had a very dissapointing loss Saturday, but they upset a top 10 team at the time in UL, they beat the #1 team in the nation (who I believe is the best team), and have had a brutal schedule. If Kentucky was to go 2-1 the rest of the way I would give them an A-. If they go 1-2 the rest of the way I would give them a B-.

It would be disappointing, but they have already done things this season, against an even tougher schedule, that haven't been done at UK in YEARS. They had to play better to have similar results to last year, and except for 2 games, they have done so. However, if they were to lose their last 4, it would be a disappointing ending to what looked like a better than expected season. But go back and look at the predictions for this season. VERY few were giving them at any chance beyond 5 wins. I think they go 2-2 and end up 8-4 with a pretty good bowl game. But you can't base the season on 1 disappointing loss. As a whole, they have been better than expected.
October 31, 200718 yr I give them a "B" This certainly could go up or down, depending on how they finish. They played Arkansas at Arkansas very well. They played Florida and LSU very well at home. But aginst Miss. St. they looked deplorable. They also could have done better at South Carolina.

November 1, 200718 yr I had them as 5-7 going into the year, so technically it's all gravy now. But you have to be somewhat disappointed about the way they looked Saturday. :thumb: I picked them the same (5-7), at best 6-6.
