October 23, 200718 yr Barry was my favorite to watch. Peyton, Brown, Campbell would fall in behind him in no order. I never was huge on giving Emmitt respect but he sure knew what to do around the goalline!
October 23, 200718 yr Walter Payton #1 by far. Great at blocking, running, recieving, and passing. Barry Sanders is very overrated IMO. He was not the type of running back to sustain drives and accumulate first downs. He would be held in check over and over again and then break a long one...
October 23, 200718 yr Barry Sanders wouldn't make my top 4 for many of the reasons that Sting pointed out; heck, his own team didn't give him the ball inside the 5 for fear of loss yardage. In some order I'd have these guys: Jim Brown O.J. Simpson Walter Payton Eric Dickerson The next tier would have these guys in some order: Marcus Allen Emmitt Smith Thurman Thomas Earl Campbell Barry Sanders
