October 14, 200719 yr Surprised to say the least... Congrats to the Cards. A tough blow for UC. Played a team with a very good QB tonight. UC had some costly turnovers and penalties. How far will UC slide in the rankings?
October 14, 200719 yr Im so glad I got to go to this game...It was an amazing ballgame....The Louisville Defense played ball tonight. And yes, UC did many things to give it away, but I won't allow that to take away from UL's D....They played their best game of the year by far....Good day for football in the Commonwealth....

U of L - 22 / 194 UC - 22 / 166 The above is not carries and yars rushing, etc....it is how many penalties, and the yardage that was accrued. HORRIBLE. I was about to say... so many people talking about how UC beat themselves, but the Cards were quite the self-mutilating team tonight as well. Thank God they pulled through. I REALLY wish I was able to watch this game.
October 14, 200719 yr I was talking with a buddy of mine, how much Louisville will indeed miss Brian next year. He sometimes makes plays look "ho-hum", because we are used to seeing near perfection. Tonight he wowed me, at least 4 times, with plays that he makes. He is a winner, I am glad to have seen him play, and more proud that I know how great a person he really is. I'm not rubbing in or anything, but man I thought the same exact thing abou UK and Woodson. When he leaves alot leaves UK.

October 14, 200719 yr :thumb: U.L. is one of the worst coached teams in all of college football, they (U.L. coaches) are terrible. JMO In all honesty I thought they had a great offensive game plan, and suspect nickel package tonight, in that they are so predictable on 3rd down stunts, and UC was killing them with the screen to the stunt side. Other than that, this game was coached with great intensity, and gamesmenship. I give Coach K a B tonight.
October 14, 200719 yr I would have to think that's more on the receivers not running the routes right. I have to belive they're taught to run the routes beyond the yard to gain markers. That may be true, but somehow they keep making the same mistakes over and over in every game.
October 14, 200719 yr Congrats to the Cards for getting back on the winning track. What a great weekend for KY teams. UK beats the number one team in the land and UL brings home the Keg of Nails with a big win over undefeated Cincy.

October 14, 200719 yr I was so happy for UC to lose this game. I have talked about them being untested and a poorly U of L team beating them just shows that they are just a average team that played a weak schedule thus far this season. Congrats to U of L on a win.....
