October 14, 200719 yr The future does look very bright. Still upset they played the way they did last night, but they were destined for a bad game at some point. Take care of Pitt next week and see what shakes out in Tampa on November 3rd... Unfortunatly I don't get the U and did not get to see it.
October 14, 200719 yr Keep giving Brian chances to beat you and he will. Tough loss but not one that surprises me much. What did take me off guard is UL dominating the line on both sides of the ball. As I told RP earlier in the week, if UC can't get pressure up the middle it was likely that UL pulled the upset. Oh well... 1. I only watched part of the game but DOHO seemed to play well and helped negate that up the middle pressure. 2. Its only an upset in that UC was ranked. I never bet but I'd have taken UL 100 times out of 100 if I did.
October 15, 200719 yr Thank God it is about time. I pull for UofL every time they are not playing Big Blue, but I was really starting to wonder about the coaching staff. Shenanigans...(bugatti 2002)
October 16, 200719 yr In an ironic way, Brohm is enhancing his draft status---due to the fact that he is carrying a heretofore (prior to UC) dysfunctional team. I think UL has an upside yet this season. There are some players challenging what Kragthorpe stands for and to his credit, he is not relenting, even though it may likely lead to defeats. More power to him. Judge him after a year or two.
October 16, 200719 yr I didn't realize that this was UL's first road win over a ranked team in seven years.
October 16, 200719 yr I didn't realize that this was UL's first road win over a ranked team in seven years. I definitely believe that...
October 17, 200719 yr Congratulations to the Cardinals...it's a little late, but I haven't been able to get on BGP and browse much until today. Hopefully, this is a sign that they're turning the corner.
