October 10, 200719 yr He is the worse announcer in college football. Doug Flutie is the worst announcer in college football, he was terrible in the UK/USC game:scared:
October 10, 200719 yr I dont kno why but i love listening to his motivational speeches every saturday and how he predicts ND to win everything. I dont see nothing wrong wit him he just has alot of passion for the game. I hope he stays at espn as long as possible.
October 11, 200719 yr Mark May irritates me much more:fight: ME TOO!!!!! I loved Lou's motivational speech to Nebraska before they played USC. He said something along the lines of "look at the bright side you could be playing UCLA and that's a lot tougher to spell!" Do Right is a great motivational video if you can ever get your hands on it. Lou is great at Public Speaking.
October 11, 200719 yr Those are ridiculous. He brings nothing to the table as an analyst. But it is hilarious to listen to him. It's unintentional humor at its best.
October 11, 200719 yr He is #1 and Bill Curry is #1A They are terrible! :madman: Curry is an insomniac's dream come true.
October 11, 200719 yr Grannie Holtz should stick to public speaking and spare us the announcing and game analysis.
October 11, 200719 yr I've had the pleasure to hear him twice speak at dinners. He definitely has the gift to speak. He uses no notes and keeps the crowd entertained. As for as an analyst, He isn't that good, and I dislike him.
October 11, 200719 yr Mike Gottfried has to be included in there somewhere. I can't understand him half the time. He sounds like he has been out at the tailgate parties since 10 am before an evening broadcast. The only reason Gootfried wasn't included on the list is because he went to Morehead.
October 11, 200719 yr I saw another sign I'm not sure which game, but it had a picture of Holtz and Sylvester the cat and said seperated at birth. I about spit out my liquid refreshment.
October 11, 200719 yr The only reason Gootfried wasn't included on the list is because he went to Morehead. Homer!
October 11, 200719 yr I love Lou, I think that ESPN wants him to be a homer when it comes to USC and ND!!! Theres no way he really beileves in half the picks he makes when it comes to those two teams... :thumb::thumb: I agree, I knew that when he predicted ND to win 10 games in a pre season show. If anyone saw it was definatley a "tounge in cheek" statement.
October 11, 200719 yr Two years ago Mike Gottfried had a medical problem which causes his speech to be the way it is. Y'all didn't know this I guess.
October 11, 200719 yr But it is hilarious to listen to him. It's unintentional humor at its best. It is funny...I'll give you that.
