September 29, 200718 yr Author Talking to some in the know, it would be very unlike Sampson to just pull the scholarship. I would expect him to see what happens legally and then make a decision on what they do. I didn't think of that. That would be the best way to go.
September 29, 200718 yr Don't see how Sampson can't pull it.....unless he wants to get the ole UC rep.
September 29, 200718 yr Don't see how Sampson can't pull it.....unless he wants to get the ole UC rep. What if he is found Not Guilty? This is still America, INNOCENT until proven guilty in a court of law. Are we rushing to judgment a little early here?
September 29, 200718 yr What if he is found Not Guilty? This is still America, INNOCENT until proven guilty in a court of law. Are we rushing to judgment a little early here? I hope he's innocent, but these are serious charges- he's guilty of something.

Mr Mackey is 18, and this is not in the high school forums, so its ok as long as we stay within the rules. :thumb:
September 29, 200718 yr Mackey was always polite and yes sir, no sir while I was around him last year. Hopefully he can get his life turned around.
September 29, 200718 yr I realize that he will likely not end up with his scholarship to Indiana and it is possible he could go to jail but do you suppose that he will be forced to sit out any Scott County games?
September 29, 200718 yr I realize that he will likely not end up with his scholarship to Indiana and it is possible he could go to jail but do you suppose that he will be forced to sit out any Scott County games? If he's in jail I doubt they have a basketball game release program. Any speculation regarding his scholarship situation at IU is purely that at this point. Remember, he's not in college for an entire year from now.
