Best QB Ever at your School

Featured Replies

Tell me you have ever seen a better option QB than Gooch? Good point on Bardo, he's good too. Sorry, I am pretty much biased towards anyone that goes or went to HHS. I got to see bardo connect with 85 on JV in the game against Male. Those two could be a scarey combo.

Its been some years since I have seen a big athletic receiver at HHS, that would bode well for any QB.

It is really going to be a fun next few years watching these two. What a combo! Add another Buten , Welz and Rosenhagen as receivers and this is going to be a fun next few years.

Been a lot of good ones at Bardstown. John Wesley Monin smashed all the passing records, but John Downs and Rick McKay had everything. That Floyd boy in the early '90's wasn't bad, either.

Pat Smith, Carroll Co.

Brandon Smith or Jeff Duggins at Boyle...hard to pick between these two. I'll keep it as a tie.

A kid named Brian Brohm.

I love Louisville and feel such an awful void in the pit of my belly after that UK loss, but I sucked it up and wore my Louisville shirt the very next day. Brohm is great, his brother is great and an even better coach. I wish him all the luck and hope he does well on Sundays.

Brandon was good, but I give the edge to Duggins.

No particular order: Mike Murray '74, Chris Bowling '84, Greg Hergott 9?, Craig Wilmhoff '91(better LB) Beechwood

From Ryle, I would say either Justin Parr or Ryan Fossett!

Holtzapfl was a very good QB for what Eckstein allowed him to do.

Was he there when Eddie Smith was the running back?

Leslie County High - Some guy by the name of Timothy Couch.

Hmm seems like he was in the news recently

That I've seen:

Complete Package: Eddie Eviston (Sam Diehl close)

Best Arm: Jeff Smith

Option QB: Scott Wiggins

I've heard that Tim O'Hara was a very good option QB in the late 70's.

I don't believe so, maybe one year. He graduated in '97.

Breathitt Co. Bobcats has had some really good Qb's in the 90's Starting with Waylon Chapman,Kyle Moore,Alan Sperry, Justin Haddix and Jacab Hundley these are some of the best thats called signals for coach Mike Holcomb and the BOBCAT's it would be hard to pick just one they all have things they done differant and (3) have won state Championships in 2-A (Chapman '95,Moore '96 and Haddix in '02) and i do think they will be more to come..Colby Fugate has had 3 yrs under Holcomb and is well on his way to making the List with these others....Go Bobcats...

Frankfort High would be Jimmy Dixon in the early 70's. He was a three year starter at Kentucky State.

#2 Jeremy Skidmore

How about Brian Willams?
