I know you are trying to keep this honest, but lets be serious here. This year's Holmes team is pretty similar to any team Highlands has played the first round of the playoffs in the last few years. If we can score over 40 points on a good Ryle team, just think of the damage we will inflict on a below average Holmes.

I'll be serious. Ask your Pop about what happened to the Birds in 1975. They totally underestimated Campbell County in the last regular season game. Birds were undefeated at that time. Camels had no business beating the Birds, but they did. If Highlands does not have a good week at practice and looks past Holmes, the Birds will be in trouble. Holmes has some very nice athletes and we know they have good coaching. I agree that on paper, we should roll. But what's on paper isn't what matters.

I said it in the TM threads. The seniors are a very seasoned bunch. They've played in the big games and the ones that were over after the 1st quarter. They will not let the team let down on one play, much less overlook an opponent. I understand the worry of looking past a game like this, but I honestly don't think that will be the case. Birds roll in this one.

Make sure you stand where you can be neutrul!

   He is starting to spell like someone else we know:lol: !!!!!

I need a clue, I lost every brain cell I had Sunday night!

Highlands will be fine. I know Coach Lickert was counting on catching Highlands on a short week with maybe some bang up players. But i'm sure Highlands isn't going to let someone sneak up on them this year like they did last year. I think Dale will have the boys ready. Stay focused boys!!!!!!

You are very right about that.

I'm thinking they stay focused and win the game 35-7. Still, count me as one of the people who will be glad to get past this week.

Can't wait for this week to be over...

Maybe Holmes will get some revenge for their 84-0 loss a few years back.

Can't we just all get along? I will be up in the pumpkin patch with the fam. You gotta get their early to beat us to the same spot we've been sitting for longer than I have been alive. When you hear that ear-piercing whistle and about fifteen people going nuts for 13, you found us.

I'll be rooting hard for HHS...:thumb:

I too will be rooting for HHS :thumb:
