pldgreatno2 Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 In my opinion, Vince Young. Who do you think?
bugatti Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 My list... 1) Bronco Nagurski 2) Barry Sanders 3) Red Grange 4) Ty Detmer 5) Deion Sanders
BigBlueFreak Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 It would be really hard for me not to pick Archie Griffith.
Watusi Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 I can't go back to the beginning of time, so I'll just comment on players I have watched. Best Offensive Player: Tie between Hershel Walker and Bo Jackson Best Defensive Player: Mike Singletary Most Exciting (and one of the best QB of all time): Doug Flutie
Hatz Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Tough question to try and narrow it down. Do you vote your favorite? The best you think you saw? Offense and/or Defense? Favorite Offense: Earl Campbell, Texas Defense: Art Still, Kentucky Best Offense: Reggie Bush, USC (He could break it anytime, anywhere) Defense: Hugh Green, Pitt (Dominated teams from DE/LB) These are some I thought no one else would list and I thought qualify for discussion.
bugatti Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 It would be really hard for me not to pick Archie Griffith. Per the sports' calendar on my desk, today is Archie Griffin's birthday.
rockcastleraiders Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 The dynamic duo of Thurman thomas and Barry Sanders, I could have won games with that!
SvFan4life Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 In my opinion, Vince Young. Who do you think? Career totals from 2003-2005 444-completions, 718-attempts, 6,040-yards, 44-TD, 28-INT While Matt Leinart did this from 2003-2005 807-completions, 1245-attempts, 10693-yards, 99-TD's, 23-INT's Flat out who's the better QB? No Way Vince is better than Leinart in college, and no way is he the best college football player ever, IMO not even in the top 10.
woodsrider Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 I am like 2C, I can't comment on guys I haven't seen or was too young to remember. My votes would go to... Reggie Bush Michael Vick Vince Young
NHS BIG DADDY Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 This is more of my favorite then best ever but one of the biggest clutch, big game pressure QB's of the last 25 years was Tommie Frazier. That guy just had the will to win and was a monster from 92-95. Undefeated and 2 national titles in his last two years, he was just dominate during that span and beat the snot out of a lot of highly ranked teams. Eddie George stole the heisman from him. Here's a little refresher for people who dont remember his play.
