September 26, 200718 yr BTW, how bad did the Sawx miss ManRam and Youk? By far their most important player. I think he enjoyed seeing the lead get down to as little as possible in his absence.
September 26, 200718 yr BTW, how bad did the Sawx miss ManRam and Youk? I think it was obvious just how important Manny is to that team. He may be a goofball, but he is the heart and soul of that team IMO.
September 26, 200718 yr Even just watching their highlights, they looked like a different team...Sucks really...
September 28, 200718 yr I told you the Sawx would still win it. What else do you want? I just loved watching Sawx fan squirm... :thumb::thumb:
September 28, 200718 yr Since Sticky and Rambler haven't been to eager to post the last couple of days I thought I'd update this thread. Red Sox won 7-3 over the A's behind 6 innings of 1 run ball by the Yankees favorite pitcher, Curt Schilling (who has an ERA of around 2.90 for his last 4 starts) while the Yankees were walked off by the Devil Rays after having a 4 run lead 7-6. On a side note Manny and Youk both played while Rocket was scratched yet again. The Sox now have a 3 game lead with 5 to play and the magic number sits at 3. I haved been around Joe:lol:, just spending most of the time on other forums.Yankees are in the playoffs now:banana:, a lot of people said that they were done so....................Look Out for the Pride, Pasion and Pinstipes!!:flame:
September 28, 200718 yr I hope we can get to see Sox vs. Yanks in the ALCS. I thought you were a Sawx fan? :fire::fire:
September 28, 200718 yr I thought you were a Sawx fan? :fire::fire: I am, and will admit that while I don't necessarily want a Sox/Yanks ALCS, I wouldn't mind it in the least. The fact is, the baseball playoffs can be pretty boring if they both aren't in the postseason. It's only that much better when they have to play one another.
September 28, 200718 yr Too little-too late? As a Yankee fan, I hope so. Although it would be neat to see the monumental comeback, I would rather see the Yanks play the Indians in the first round.

September 28, 200718 yr I thought you were a Sawx fan? :fire::fire: I am. And there's nothing sweeter than beating the Yankees in October.:thumb:
September 29, 200718 yr Red Sox beat the Twins 5-2. Mo Rivera blows a 3 run lead in the 9th and Baltimore wins it in the 10th. Congratulations to The Boston Red Sox, 2007 American League East Champs!!!!!!!
