WOFOJP61 Posted July 9, 2007 Share Posted July 9, 2007 The University of Louisville's football game at the University of Kentucky on Sept. 15 will be televised live on ESPN Classic at 7:30 p.m. ET, as well as on local stations in the two school's markets. WHAS-TV in Louisville and WKYT in Lexington will also carry the ESPN Classic telecast live. The local stations are also permitted to produce their own pre-game, halftime and post-game productions. It is the Cardinals' seventh game this season which has already been selected to one of ESPN's family of networks. from UofL's Sports Page. Are there truly that many football fans that don't have a way to watch this on ESPN Classic that would watch it anyway? It doesn't have nearly as much to do with it being on ESPN Classic as it does with it not being the only game in town. The reasons for moving the game still have to do with "losing" the game.
