BP goes from 1st to 3rd on a routine bunt and then scores on a sac fly in the 11th. He's so fun to watch...

Some people don't realize it but his 'gangsta lean' actually benefits him when running the bases. I may start teaching that...

Did the Redlegs play today?

Yes. They lost 5-4 to the Giants.

I believe it makes him harder to see.

Dunner is being set down for the rest of the year. Homer starting tonight.

Check out our predictions at the beginning of this thread. One of us may be dead on it. Probably you:banana:

74-88 I say. All good questions and it will be fun to see how it all unfolds even though they won't make the playoffs. AGAIN.

You are right I should be pretty close.

This thread is dead!

We don't give up until the season is over...

Wow, I feel like such a loser. Sitting there last night at 9 pm watching the Reds blow another one live on FoxSports. I should have stayed in the bedroom and watched Biggest Loser with my wife.

Why did they take Homer out and not let him finish the inning? It wasnt his fault Encarnacion booted that ball. Pete made a great decision there going with Cootlangus and then Majewski some top notch middle relievers. You could just read the lips on Homer Bailey in the dugout and I know what he was uttering. 20 yrs old or not, he had a right to be ticked off. Let him get out of the inning and preserve the 5-4 lead.

Then yank him and bring in the duds to blow it.

Bullpen might be the worst ever IMO and I go back to Tommy Boom Boom Hume and boys in the mid 80's.

Okay, a few things:

1. The Reds will NOT finish the season with the worst record in the NL, the NL Central, let alone baseball.

2. The Reds could go undefeated in the 2nd half and Petey Mack isn't coming back as the manager.

3. The Reds will go either 3-8 or 4-7 in the 11 game stretch out of the gate.

4. Adam Dunn will be a Red on October 1.

1. Check.

2. Check.

3. They went 5-6. Darn it.

4. Check.

:D

Do you think the Reds can compete next year as is? I don't, but the optimists do. We'll see next year, but I believe the Reds as is next year will just repeat this season. I also don't believe we can count on the other teams to stay pat.

There's 30/30 for my guy BP...
