Now, to answer Alabama Larry, there are many great schools. You have to decide for yourself what makes your school great. You have to believe in it's mission, and support it's efforts in achieving it's goals. Great schools are more than buildings with students. Great schools, IMO, are committed communities, willing to personally ensure that their school never settles for what is expected, but strives to exceed the expectations and norms. JMHO.

1) Don't give the useless "we have more overall titles than you" line; anyway 3 more overall titles in 100 years is pretty pathetic. 2) Don't confuse dicipline with academics. A more strict school doesn't mean the students are smarter. 3) Everyone knows Trinity High School is on top...Diogenes, with so many National Merit Scholars I had hoped you could do the math...01' 02' 03' 05' 06' =DYNASTY

Everyone has heard the definition of insanity quote about doing the same thing the same way and expecting a different result.

 

If I was technical I could find the same bantering going back and forth from last years threads. If the schools were the same and both perfect the rivalry would not exist. I LOVE X for my reasons and other LOVE T for theirs. I still believe they are the 2 best options for young men in the area. If my boys chose T they will just have to deliver a ton on news papers to pay for it themselves... haha

I agree and it has been going on for longer than that on here too. You should have seen some of the LSURock/Oxnard classics. :lol:

I think what many of you are missing is that this award is for the best ATHLETIC PROGRAM in the state, not just the best FOOTBALL PROGRAM. Arguing about football is fine, but the award recognizes so much more than that.

What is the highest number of KHSAA sanctioned championships that T has won in a year? I think it is three, but wanted to get verification.

That would not include volleyball, lacrosse, and power lifting, right?
