April 27, 200719 yr Less than two months from now I will be getting married and our honeymoon is set. If anyone remembers, I started a thread a few weeks ago looking for some information regarding Nova Scotia or Newfoundlad. I thought it would be something different and outside the box, so to speak. So, after consulting with a travel agent and reviewing everything, it came down to Nova Scotia and El Dorado Royale (a 21 and up resort on the Riveria Maya in Mexico). In deciding on a destination: I wanted Nova Scotia. She wanted the place in Mexico. For everyone out there that is married or in a deeply committed relationship, who do you think won this battle??? Adios!
April 27, 200719 yr We went to a Bed and Breakfast the night of our wedding and didn't go anywhere because of my work and she was in school working on her masters. We saved and went to Hawaii 2 1/2 years later, definitely worth the wait.
April 27, 200719 yr We went to the Bahamas and it was all-inclusive. If you are going to go to a resort you need to definelty do the all-inclusive. It was so nice not having to worry about having enough money with us. It was just nice to go and enjoy our time together as husband and wife and relax without the worry of how much money to bring.
April 27, 200719 yr We got original with our honeymoon plans and went to Gatlinburg.:lol: So! You're the one who started that. :lol: I can't believe all the people who went to the Bahamas, Hawaii, Jamaica, etc. Newlyweds but be much wealthier nowadays. We rented a cabin at a State Resort Park in Ohio.
April 27, 200719 yr Have fun in Mexico, bugatti!:lol: We went to Ocho Rios, Jamaica and had a wonderful time! It's almost impossible for me to believe it has been almost 12 years ago.
April 27, 200719 yr Royal Carribean Cruise from Tampa to Key West (suppose to have been to Grand Cayman but mother nature had her way that summer), Belize, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. We can't wait to go on another one.

April 27, 200719 yr We went to the Pine Mountain State Park for our honeymoon some 36+ years ago. It was $12.00 a night back then.
