Gunner11
If they do manage to get by, UL gets a nice break in the second round playing Texas A&M in Lexington... A&M has to be a little miffed about that...
RowdyRedRam
I feel great about this seed and location. Louisville should be real scary in this position.
TheDeuce
If the Cards get past Stanford, they are in the Sweet 16, IMO.
RowdyRedRam
If the Cards get past Stanford, they are in the Sweet 16, IMO.I'm not all that concerned about a Stanford team that has only won 4 out of thier last 11.
The Professor
Louisville shouldn't have any problems with the game played in their back door at Rupp. There will be a lot of red colors in the stands.....sorry Cardinal fans, but we Kentuckians won't lose when we get the game in the Commonwealth. Alabama Larry
I heard they were a very tall team. Trees not the Cards.
Hangman
Guarantee a Cardinal victory in this one, and a Wildcat victory in the UK/Nova matchup.
SirMixAlot
Stanford has the potential to be a sweet 16 team, and they have the potential to get beat by 20 in the first round.
NHS BIG DADDY
I havent watched Stanford hardly at all this year and not sure how good their guard play is. If they can match up with UL backcourt I think they have a great shot at winning considering there back court. If they lack good guard play then UL will win comfortably I believe. SuperB
How about Rick getting to come to Rupp. I can't believe that Louisville got put that close to home. Duke and NC play first and second round "home" games every year. Why not the 'Ville.
TaylorMadeBoy
I thought they would be playing Air Force or Syracuse before they revealed the last team, didn't expect Stanford.
Augger
I think Louisville will make the Sweet 16. Rupp will be good to Coach Pitino.
romeo 4 president
Louisville should win this one, but I think Acie Law and Texas A&M will beat them in the second round. I wonder how many UK fans will go to Rupp and become Stanford fans for a day. I know if I lived in Lexington, I wouldn't mind paying a little bit to help Stanford upset the Cardinals. oldrambler
Louisville by 7. ESPN guys were talking about U.L./Pitino playing in Rupp and they mentioned that all th crazed U.K. fans would buy up the tickets just to root against them. That imo is not too far from the truth.
