Sometimes you just have to survive and advance!

X had one of its worst perimeter shooting performances of the season against a very good team and still found a way to win. You have to be ready for games like this in March and the Tigers were.

I'm looking forward to the shot clock. St. X over the years has made me a shot clock fan.

Congrats NL on a good season as well.

What a great game! Also kind of quiets down the whole Covcath/St. X was the state championship game. As North Laurel just played a great game and had the ball with a chance to win it with 15 seconds left. You have to love this tournament!

Win and advance. Have to pull out tough games along the way to a championship. Congrats to North Laurel on a great season. When I saw they shoot 38% from three I knew they could be a tough out.

Felt like there style of play allowed a lesser talented team to hang around.

Wasn’t it a one point game with five minutes left, when St. X started doing the stall ball? So looks like NL was hanging around regardless.

Jeremiah Jackson’s defense was a total denial blanket for the 2nd game in a row.  Made life very difficult on McGillis of CovCath and on Davidson of North Laurel today.  Just a one man blanket on both.

He also guarded Cole Edelen of Ballard and slowed him down in Region final.

Was wanting to bring this game up when I got home to see my cousin get honored between games but it’s not even listed on NFHS. Anyone have any insight here?

Based on watching both teams play in the first round, this game is no contest, X names the score.

What happened ? Never know you to be off.

X looked like world beaters against CCH, not so much today.  And come on @JIM SEYMOUR # 85, this is round ball!
