Saint Louis is pouring it on Georgia. If they didn’t lose in their conference tournament they would have been seeded better.

A massive, massive choke from Duke.  UConn deserves a lot of credit for their fight, and they put the pressure on, but Duke absolutely blew it on that last sequence.

Someone better throw the towel for Georgia. Not five full minutes into the second half and Saint Louis is up 35 and have made only 3 there pointers  all game. Saint Louis on a 16 or 18 -0  run since halftime:

I have had so much on so many screens today but I did watch the halftime guys and they were fine and all but what is up with Charles Barkley's sport coat?

I did ask google and there is a lot about that but I guess it is this one:

The "Big" Suit Era (2022–Present): Barkley has been jokingly accused of being "contractually obligated" to wear baggy, old-fashioned suits to create a talking point, contrasting with modern tailored trends.

Same with Georgia.

A lot of talk on sports radio this morning about Hubert Davis possibly being fired after yesterday's loss. They say yes his best player was out but they had a 19 point lead. After making the championship game in his first season with the players mainly from Williams. Since then they have never advanced to the Sweet 16. One year they did not make the tournament and the last two seasons they have lost in the opening round of the tournament.

And it's not like he hasn't been getting good recruits. His days at UNC are numbered but I'm not sure if they will do it this season.

I will never understand how UNC made that championship game. I could have never imagined Davis having the wherewithal to coach up a team to that level.

Granted, he was an assistant at UNC before being elevated to the head coaching role, but he was one of the first examples of blue-blood college basketball programs having to take risks that they would not normally have taken (see UK and UL). In fairness, much of my bias comes from me watching Davis all of those years as an ESPN studio analyst. I always thought he was terrible in that role.

I agree I think it was like Kentucky's 1998 team the year after Rick left.

Joshua Jefferson for Iowa State rolled his ankle bad.

He is probably the best athlete on Iowa State's team.

Big 10- 7-2

Big 12- 6-2
