Kentucky leads Iowa State 20-9 at the under 12 media timeout. The Cats could not ask for a better start other than the turnovers.

Johnson is not ready for this!!

Turnover, missed three, turnover, missed three, turnover.  And that's how a 20-9 lead becomes 20-18 fast. 

This is looking like the start of the A&M game we started strong and sub and lost all of the momentum. We had to call a timeout just to get Johnson and probably out. It is now 20-18 Cats. Since we went up 18-6 we have now been outscored 12-2! The turnovers don't hurt when you're shooting 80% from 3 but now we have already committed 7 turnovers in just over 10 minutes leading to 7 Iowa State points.

The Cats have now committed 7 teams fouls with over 8 minutes left in the half. Iowa State has shot 11 FT's to 0 for the Cats!

The Cats get a basket and a possible and 1 from Aberdeen at the under 8 timeout. The Cats had been outscored 11-0 before that basket and 14-2 since they led 18-6.

After starting 4 of 5 from 3 the Cats are 0 for their last 5 thank goodness the Cyclones are 0-10 from 3.

Iowa State is playing some very good defense currently also something is not right with Oweh.

Another turnover plus Aberdeen picks up his 2nd foul.

My goodness another turnover their 12th of the half! A 3 for Iowa State to end the half and the Cats trail 31-30. They have 12 points off of the 12 turnovers. If we are going to win we will have to have no more than 4 or 5 turnovers in the 2nd half. I doubt they will shoot that bad.

Not a great start to the 2nd half 2 more turnovers already and have committed 6 fouls in just over 5 minutes. Plus Chandler, Oweh and Aberdeen all have 3 fouls. No way that was a goal tend!

Since the 12:24 mark of the first half Iowa State has now outscored Kentucky 40-20!
