He's trying to get another year in college. If he does go into the draft, he is projected as a 3rd-5th round pick currently. Still a lot of time to move up if he goes to the combine and performs well in workouts.

Man what is going on with the Steelers organization. First old players putting down Tomlin wanting him out. Players breaking the brotherhood of being teammates going after each other. A Super Bowl QB that now a former teammate and coach of his is talking bad about him. What a mess.

Not getting him the courts ruled in his favor to return to Ole Miss today. I doubt the NCAA tries to fight it any further.

I'm just not a believer that he is a 1st round pick.  Mediocre arm and accuracy doesn't bode well.  He gets happy feet under pressure.  At least Will Howard is a bigger guy.  There are some really good OTs that could help that line.  I'd go that route.

I do not either but I guess if you are in such a bad need for a QB, but I'm not sure he is the 2nd best in the draft or if he is even better than Will Howard who they already have.

Until the Steelers actually get the QB situation figured out. They will continue to not be a team that is a threat to win it all. Good enough to where they don't blow it up, but never good enough to win it all. Essentially the worst spot to be in as a pro team, which is where the Bengals hung out a lot during the Dalton years. 

This year’s NFLPA annual survey of NFL teams report cards ranked the Steelers franchise as the worst in the NFL. The report obtained by ESPN says the report card grades teams from A plus to F minus. 
The Steelers received low grades in several categories. The Steelers owner Art Rooney ranks last for willingness to invest in facilities. In a new category this year the Steelers had the lowest rated home field in the league by a very wide margin. Players cite inadequate maintenance and excessive wear from hosting high school and college games. The reports said “Players across the league note the poor condition of the field and emphasize the need for investment to bring it up to standard. 
The Steelers locker room received a grade of F. Players said the locker room only had 5 stalls for the entire team. 
Per the survey their training room lacks updated recovery technology and modalities and the Steelers strength coaches rank last in the NFL.

Nice combo.  But the QB position will be below average, as usual, which really lowers their ceiling.
