SportsNut44
From what i've been told at the Breathitt Co. and LCC game the other night that one of Breathitt's players mother was cheering for LCC. That does not sound to smart, i don't want to name names but they know who they are. Would someone please tell me if they have heard such a thing in the past, this is a first for me. PutMeInCoach
Did the other team make a good play? If so, why not clap?
SportsNut44
No; my understanding is that she did this all night.
MBWC41
I dont know of the current situation you are talking about, but when I was in high school, our entire cheering section cheered for the opposite team for most of a game. We we're a pretty wild bunch of kids, actually a radio station (X106.3) ranked us the third rudest section in the state. The game this went down, our principal had had several of our students escorted out by the police for being too rowdy, so in turn, we began to sarcastically go crazy for the other team and remained completely silent for our own team. It was really stupid, but Im pretty sure that it made the principal and other administrators pretty mad, at the tender age of 17, that was all that mattered. PutMeInCoach
We also did that.
STRIKE3
Fans/Parents go to games to cheer. If this did occur, since you indicated it was told to you, perhaps there was a reason not made known. This thread is finished.
