The Cats (5-3) have next up the # 11 Zags of Gonzaga (7-1) at Rupp on Friday night with a 7:00pm tip on ESPN 2. Go Cats!!

Game is in Nashville. 

I’m not sure how anyone can pick the Cats in this one, considering how they’ve played when the other team has a pulse. There was nothing last night showed any of us to make us believe they beat the Zags.

If they can get 1 or 2 of the three guys who are not playing right now to play then it becomes a much different team.  But, does anyone know when any of the three will actually suit up?

1 of the 3 guys that missed last game, in Dioubatte played in 2 of their losses. So even when he played, they were having the same issues. Then in the loss to Louisville, they had both him and Love play and still lost. So while the injuries have been a factor, this team has still had many of the same issues when playing a good team. 

Now with that said, in the long run if they can get all three healthy. It definitely should make a difference, or at least we hope so.

I actually will pick the Cats in this one. As in sports usually when you see a team that is desperate, they come out and play one of their better games when no one expects it. I think we will see that with the Cats in this one, as this game is a game that they kind of desperately need to win.

Makes sense.  But what is the issue with Dioubatte?

UK has given zero reason for me to believe they can beat a team that can walk and chew gum at the same time.

I believe they said he has a high ankle sprain?

UK has played 3 good teams.  They have lost all 3: one at home, one on the road, and one at a neutral site.  They have been remarkably consistent.  I have seen nothing out of this team that suggests that they can win this game.  Gonzaga 88-74. 

No reason to think Kentucky gets it done. 

Gonzaga coming off spanking from Michigan so they will probably play hard. With Cats shorthanded with injuries I'll take Gonzaga.
