It is a very tough schedule. Unfortunately UK kind of missed their window and didn't take advantage of it, when they had a few seasons recently when they didn't have as tough of a SEC schedule. 

Kentucky's official schedule released:

Sept. 5: vs. Youngstown State

Sept. 12: vs. Alabama

Sept. 19: at Texas A&M

Sept. 26: vs. South Alabama

Oct. 3: at South Carolina

Oct. 10: vs. LSU

Oct. 17: at Oklahoma

Oct. 24: vs. Vanderbilt

Oct. 31: OFF

Nov. 7: at Tennessee

Nov. 14: vs. Florida

Nov. 21: at Missouri

Nov. 28: vs. Louisville

Only one off week.

I don't see any real path to 5 wins unless some rosters fall apart in the transfer season. 

Penguins are a win, for sure, and So. Alabama is another, so there is two.  In the month of October, can they find 2 wins....do they have 1 for sure?

Florida should be way better, but I guess that is a maybe at home, and Louisville is an unknown at this point, in many ways, but you have to assume UK doesn't flip 40+ points in one year.

I had to read that four times, lol.  Alabama is another, so there is two. Finally it hit me, the South Alabama Jaguars are two.  So, there is that. ?

Maybe it is just me but that seems like the toughest UK football schedule of all time.

Hopefully Stein is able to get the deal closed and get him signed before looking elsewhere. This would be a huge start to his time here, and probably would help get others.

The scary part is Leavitt left Lexington and we did not get a commit.  He is now visiting Texas Tech who can easily outbid UK if they want.  UK needed to get the commit when he was on campus

The good news is QB Brenden Sorsby from UC just transferred to Texas Tech. So that probably takes Texas Tech out of the running for Leavitt now.
