IKR!  I figured we were doing much better than usual and this gives me hope.

Cats! Cats! Cats!

I was able to attend a spring practice and was impressed.  The energy on the field, the "Coaching" of the players on every rep...the organization and tempo of practice was all a major upgrade than the last few years of the Stoops regime.

I was fortunate enough to go to a practice too. Aside from the obvious increase in energy from the previous staff (if you never got the chance to see a practice towards the end of Stoops' tenure, it was like watching paint dry) that you mentioned, I couldn't help but notice how everything Stein and Co. do revolves around competition. Even communication at the LOS was a competition between who could get calls out quicker between the O and D. 

The schedule is brutal, but I feel positive about the way the cats are trending. Hopefully, we can knock a few traditional favorites off during the season. 

The spring game today was well attended. Yes, the energy & enthusiasm has been good. I sure think they are better. You never really know until you play another team. But, yes, the execution and talent level seem to have improved. 2 weeks ago, the defense seemed to be ahead of the offense. That was not the case today. I like Minchey alot. He is good. 

Overall, alot to like about the new staff and how they do their work. Organization. Details. Communication. Teaching. They check all of these boxes at a high level. 

Very encouraging.
