I think Shelby County's new fields (Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Concession Stand and Restrooms) that just opened 2 or 3 years ago, is one of the nicest I've seen in this part of the State. They put a lot of money into that place. It's natural grass and it is very well maintained. I only hope the put together a good endowment fund to keep it looking that good into the future.

 

I got to play at the Shelby Co. field two years ago and I think it was the first year they played on it. It was a really nice complex, the grass was extremely think, but it was new. But, a really nice set-up.

Henry Co. has a nice field.

I would agree. They do have a nice field.

St Henry has the best field in NKY.

Corbin's field is one of the nicest I have seen.

 

From what I hear Johnson Central and Letcher Central will be having nice ones.

That's a good pic of Brook's Stadium; it's been about 7 or 8 years since I've been out there.

They don't get much nicer than PRP, Corbin, Lawrence Co. and Pikeville. Pulaski and Somerset also have nice facilities.

Greenup going to Coco this year? Is this a first?

 

No been there a bunch...including last year.

I like PRP and Tates Creek. Lawrence Co. has the best scoreboard though.

The one thing about St. Henry's field is that there is usually one thing each year done to inprove it. In 2008 I believe you will be very impressed with the changes being made.:dancingpa

Has Bell County got their field renovations complete and if so how did it turn out?

I can't argue this. And it's a shame that with all the schools in NKY, there isn't another field to compete with St. Henry's.

PRP

Lawrence Co. has a really nice field and may have the nicest scoreboard.

Lot of nice facilities in SEKY. Whitley Co., Corbin, South Laurel and North Laurel, Pulaski, Somerset, SW, McCreary Cent. I'll miss the trips to those schools.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing the fields over in the 5th Region area of the state.
