I've always said that the centerfielder at Mercer County (or the team they're playing) has the best arm in the state...

Exactly, play or practice is no problem with field turf, a huge advantage over grass not to mention the cost and labor of maintaining the grass.

I have driven by Male HS and noticed them taking fielding practice in the parking lot. :scared:

 

Not exactly the same thing as being on the field.

IF bracken Co. would actually take care of their field it would be nice, other than the short fences.

Same problem over here too, it's been passed around to numerous people here and they start with excitment and then just stop takin' care of the field.

After going to the first game in the new St.X baseball stadium it would be hard to believe there is a better facility in this state. First class, state of the art, there will be very few ball hit out of it.

Lawrence Co's has really turned into a beautiful facility. The field looks GREAT. The brick all around looks good. The pine trees around the outfield have grown and the indoor facility down the left field line adds a touch. The scoreboard is second to none of any field I've seen in KY.

I just happened to go by there tonight and couldn't believe how great it looked.

PRP has the nicest field that I've ever personally been to.

I want to personally invite you over to the new St X field as guests of myself and Birdiecat. While the Rocks and Tigers play varsity at Slugger park, maybe a JV game would be more to your liking? I know the T men play the X JV nine on April 7th in a double header.
