Neither one of these looks like Legend stats.

1. Why does Duke never have much talent on the bench seemingly year after year?

2. I like Paulus as a PG. However, if he's one of your 'go to ' guys, you're in trouble. He needs to set up the 'go to' guys.

3. I still can't figure out if McRoberts is left-handed or right-handed.

4. I like the Scheyer kid - talent and toughness.

Neither one of these looks like Legend stats.

Legends generally start.:D

I saw an interview with Jay Bilas yesterday morning where he was giving McRoberts some grief for missing layups at the end of the previous two games. Still a bit of a surprise to see him not in the starting lineup, though.

As a casual fan of college hoops, I always try to catch the two NC-Duke games each season. Maybe the rivalry is a little overhyped, but when two programs of this magnitude are almost within walking distance of each other, the hype is justified.

Duke, with McRoberts riding the pine, came out of the gate very energized. The first TV timeout allowed UNC to regroup a little; eventually their superior talent won out. That along with some spotty free-throw shooting by the Devils.

Both teams can take positives away from the game. Duke for demonstrating an energy that they hadn't shown; they wouldn't be on a 3-game skid had they played like that in the previous two games. Carolina for not panicking in Cameron and pulling out the win.

Yep guess so. If you watched the game and deny that they are not getting alot better then... well somethings wrong.

I watched the game and have seen some of Duke's games recently and if they are getting better that only tells me that they weren't very good before. Sunday at home against Florida State they don't score in the last 3 minutes and lose by 1. Last night at home, fans going nuts, biggest rival, 10 point second half lead, can't make any big free throws, and lose a huge game.

- Leader K gets all he can out of his players. UNC was clearly the better team from the start but coaching and effort kept them in the lead for most of the night.

- I think Paulus can be a good scorer if he takes good shots. For every good one made, he took 2 horrendous shots that were off.

I hope you didn't pay $10 just to post that.

How did u get away with paying $10.:fight:

I'm actually hoping McRoberts comes back......No way does Patterson go to Duke if he stays.

McRoberts should stay at Duke, he obviously still has a lot of growing up to do. His teammates and opponents won't stand for his boorish behavior in the NBA.

I think Duke will be ok come tournament time and they will get in. With continued improvement of their young players I can see them getting a lower seed, then beating a higher seed and using the advantage of the higher seed's draw to make a little noise.

Was it more? I honestly can't remember. It used to be $10. Blame it on inflation, I guess.

Duke had this game but let it get away form them at the end.

I wish not to derail this topic, but I can't help but see an interesting comparison. Coach K is 5-5 in the ACC, has lost at least 3 times at home this year, and just lost to his arch-rival. Coach K is still seen as getting the most of his players in a situation where his talent was not to the level of his opponent (I agree with this whole-heartedly).

What is interesting is that a great number of KY fans would want Tubby's job for the same exact thing.

Familiar territory for this Dook squad. No?

Neither one of these looks like Legend stats.

I appreciate you all calling him a legend...though I don't think he's there just yet.

If Tubby had been to ten final fours in the last 21 years...and won three championships (one this century)...he would get much less heat.
