I don't care if they start Rypien or have JaMarr take snaps, they just can't send Jake out there and expect the fan base to just show up because.

Ideally you go find a QB that may be worth a darn.  Winston or Kirk Cousins or talk Dan Fouts our of retirement.  Just anything but the schlock they've thrown out there the last 3 weeks.

I don’t see any veterans or anyone else wanting to come with the shape of the OL. While Browning may not be ideal for most, he’s what they have. If I was another quarterback, especially an older one, I wouldn’t come to Cincinnati. In my opinion, the right things clearly didn’t get taken care over the past offseason and it’s showing very visibly.

Worst part about all this is the division is wide open. Pittsburgh doesn’t look overwhelming, Cleveland and Baltimore stink. With a decent QB, the Bengals can be in the thick of things. Browning bought himself time with the garbage time scores but they need to make a change. Wilson or Winston are the ones people will go after most. I’d prefer Winston. 

One thing I will say with comparing what’s happened this season and last season is that Burrow disguised problems that were known, with some looking worse now with him being off the field. If he didn’t play the games he did last season, they would have lost half of their won games and maybe more.

Browning was horrible today and it had nothing to do wuth the line or Taylor. He was off target on a slew of plays that would have been completions with a better throw. Any single one of the 3 INT'S was bad enough to merit a benching and he three of them. The announcer on the game said it - all three picks were giveaways, not takeaways.

To respond to this in the other thread before it was closed. Yes the Bengals did make it to the Super Bowl and AFC Championship game. As a head coach I honestly think he doesn’t get enough credit. However, as a playcaller is the main issue I have had with him and same with many others. Which quite honestly even in those two playoff runs, it was the defense that was a bigger reasons for those runs than the offense. 
 

Taylor has won just 8 games as a coach in games Burrow has not started. Taylor has never been viewed around the league as a good playcaller, and more so talent carrying the offense more so than his play calling. Right before this season started the New York Times has an article where they talked to Defensive Coordinators around the league and defensive assistants to rank the play callers in regards to toughest to play against. Taylor didn’t make the top 10, and didn’t even make the honorable mention list. And this was coming off a year where the Bengals offense was top 3 in the league last year, yet defensive coaches still didn’t think highly of Taylor as a play caller.

Honorable mention: Kliff Kingsbury, Mike McDaniel, Arthur Smith, Drew Petzing, Greg Roman, Joe Brady. So he wasn’t even in the top 16 of  play callers according to NFL Defensive coordinators.
