Gotta stay with the hot hand and keep Jhett at QB.

  • BC's shadow still looms over the rest of 4A. Gonna be a great playoffs in that class.

  • A school the size of St X should have no excuses about depth at any position.  Boyle's playing a back up QB and his first start was against Highlands and they won that game.  St X could not block Boyl

  • Justin's not afraid to play competition.  Wins against St. Edwards and St. X in back to back seasons.

The Rebel defense is the best all year tonight.  They were solid.

I took this from the corner of the endzone on the St. X side. Not an action shot but it does show that there was a good crowd and that it was a beautiful night for football.

No doubt, major kudos to the Boyle County powers that be.

Nice win Boyle but the backup QB was scared to death and was not ready - fumbled I believe first play.  Set up a short field and a TD for Boyle.  This is a completely different ballgame and a possible different outcome if Trimble plays.

A school the size of St X should have no excuses about depth at any position.  Boyle's playing a back up QB and his first start was against Highlands and they won that game.  St X could not block Boyle up front and that was the major difference in the game.  On the KHSAA website it shows St X roster at 101 players and that doesn't look to include their freshmen class. With a roster that size not having a back up ready to play at any position seems to be on the staff.

All the OL played, the RB who's going to Louisville played, the H back who is also going to UL played.. and they garnered -15 rushing yards. Was so bad on the ground they didn't post the rushing stats to KHSAA. Lot of if's and's and but's, but the facts are the facts. Next man up!

Since when does X need excuses?

Sometimes, I think people give X too much credit. With 2 consecutive 2nd round losses in the rear view mirror, what is there exactly about this season's team that says they have improved significantly?

So if Trimble doesn't play Friday, how much effect does that have against Manual? Can the Tigers restore the running game?
