I'd have Cooper at one. And I still don't think there are 6 teams better than Atherton in 5A.

Like I said after the Anderson game, don't sleep on Cooper but I don't know about number one.  On Atherton, I tend to agree and we find out this week.

The top 3 are objectively the best 3 teams at the moment, I’d say they’re pretty interchangeable from 1-3. BIG gap from 7 to 8.

No way I am counting BG out.

BG will be a big threat again when Trevy Barber returns. One stud athlete missing makes a huge difference in high school football where the next man up replacing a stud player doesn't have game-changing ability.

Of course not, the team I worry about the most is still Bowling Green and I believe they’ll beat South Warren. Hoping to play them again for all the marbles first week of December!

Atherton is better than Pulaski County after seeing both this season. 

Will the Atherton vs Manual game be streamed anywhere?

Did you watch them play Central Hardin? 
That’s a tough comparison to North Hardin.  Atherton has not played anyone yet.

Agreed on Atherton.  How long did their game go with Mercer before called for weather?  Can Atherton knock off Manual?

Atherton defense is the real deal. Better defense than Pulaski, no doubt. Pulaski is well coached and has some athletes but their numbers are hovering around 40. Atherton has more speed/athletes and far greater numbers.

I agree. I've never bought into that next man up because the next man up can be significantly worse than the starter.

Next man up is true in high-level college and pro, not in high school.

I agree with both of you but at the best of the best programs many times the next man up is pretty good too.
