February 5, 200719 yr Outstanding opportunity for Vince Murray. From Ryan Ernst's blog: In the navy ... Ryle senior linebacker/running back Vince Murray on Wednesday will sign with Navy. Ryle athletic director Jim Demler confirmed it today. Murray was one of the top tacklers and rushers in Northern Kentucky and led the Raiders to the state finals. According to area coaches, he projects as a fullback in college, but next week I'll ask Vince how the Navy coaches plan on using him.
February 5, 200719 yr The Middies have a great organization under Paul Johnson. There is no better place to go, IMHO, and this young man also must have outstanding academic credentials and character, as well as a Congressional nomination, to have been accepted. Well done. GO NAVY, BEAT ARMY!
February 5, 200719 yr Sounds like Murray is a great kid and a smart one. Thus, I'm sure he'll take the Marine option if he's offered it:laugh:.
February 5, 200719 yr Congrats to Mr. Murray! :thumb: Is it possible for him to play baseball there too?
