Ryle senior linebacker/running back Vince Murray on Wednesday will sign with Navy. Ryle athletic director Jim Demler confirmed it today. Murray was one of the top tacklers and rushers in Northern Kentucky and led the Raiders to the state finals. According to area coaches, he projects as a fullback in college, but next week I'll ask Vince how the Navy coaches plan on using him.

 

He'd better be a man beast to be a fullback in that offense. Congratulations to this young man and good luck to him in his career as a midshipman football player, and more importantly as an officer in either the Navy/Marine Corps where he may one day lead our country's most prized possessions (our sons and daughters) into combat.

The Middies have a great organization under Paul Johnson. There is no better place to go, IMHO, and this young man also must have outstanding academic credentials and character, as well as a Congressional nomination, to have been accepted. Well done.

I still haven't seen anyone hurtle a LOS in a game. Never ever ever.

A lot of people said, "Where's the D1 offers if he's that good?" That IMO translates to overrated. LSURock that wasn't directed at you (like yours was at me).
