Next Thursday the 27th at 1:30 following the North Laurel vs. Breathitt County game in which winner will take on that winner.

Lawrence County, winners of the 15th region comes in with an overall record of 22-10 and have won 4 straight and 5 of they're last 6.

The Bulldogs rolled past Martin County 97-84 to claim the 15th region crown.

Montgomery County, winners of the 10th region, comes in with an overall record of 22-10 and have won 5 straight and have won 11 of they're last 12 games.

Indians defeated George Rogers Clark in thrilling fashion on a buzzer-beating bank is open 3.

Montgomery is undefeated against the Bulldogs per KHSAA with the last meeting coming back in 2015 with Montgomery winning by 3.

MoCo is on a roll.

Would love to see Lawrence pull this one off. Probably very unlikely. Need to shoot a lot of 3s and see a lot of them go in to have a chance.

Besides having Reed as a dynamic guard and great facilitator the Indians have size with Jarvis at 6’5, Fawns at 6’6 and Terry at 6’7. And they are not the type of size that can just post up or rebound. They are very mobile and move well without the ball, can shoot the 3, defend and rebound. Versatility is a good description.
I think MoCo has a more than good chance of making it to Saturday morning’s games.

Montgomery Co by double digits.

This will be a high scoring track meet.

I think it would continue to be an interesting story if Lawrence were to win due to the fact that they actually lost their opening district game but due to the Super Regional experiment they got to play in the regional and went on to win it.

Can you explain how this works?

MC 20 LC 13 with 212 left in the first.

32-17 Montgomery Co.

5:53 Q2

Cayden Reed scoreless for the Indians, but with five assists.

39-20 MC with 255 left in the half.
