Open Job: Scott County

I have to wonder if a guy like Sullivan from Cooper High School would be interested in this job. Sully has the experience and youth to bring success back to this storied program.

And there are MAJOR issues in his place currently. After all of this, even if my job is renewed, I am still leaving.

Didn’t say it would happen!  Just said, that’s my first call.

Sullivan from Cooper maybe a good fit.

Maybe, but he is a northern Ky guy. Not sure if moving to Georgetown would be appealing. He's been at Cooper 17 years, prior to that I think he was on staff at Holmes maybe? If he was an assistant for 3 or 4 years, that probably means he's within 7 or 8 years of teacher retirement. That may play into it as well.

That's not a terrible drive. I know people that do it from NKY to the Toyota factory 5-6 days a week. I don't know of any attractive coaching jobs in NKY right now.

Don't have to move to Georgetown!  He could move to the Grant Co area, near the 75 Corridor. 25 minute drive to Georgetown and a 20 Minute drive to Florence, and way less traffic.  Of course all the perks of the Suburban life for the kids would be shot out the window, but you never know.

Probably been said in this thread before.  Scott Co. Will be down until the talent level increases.  You can roll John Wooden, Bob Knight, or whoever you want in there, doesn't matter until the better kids start coming back to Scott Co.

Need someone to bring back the "Red Heat" days.  Scott Co. was a feared program, and def. can be again!

Those games with Mason County were legendary.

I don’t think he would leave MoCo but Jason Mays is a graduate of Scott County High and Georgetown College.
I agree that with their new school and gym that it would be an enticing job. It may take a few years to rebuild the program.

Could Sullivan from Cooper be a contender for this job with it being nearby?
