Nah he should be playing both ways. He has a way better chance of getting recruited to play college football as a safety than a QB, especially when the first minute of your HUDL highlight tape is you scrambling and running the ball. IMO, I think he is a better Safety than QB

I think there is a 0% chance of him getting recruited for QB for anything other than option offense or maybe D3 that runs the QB a lot. There was a writeup from a recent Louisville camp of him making plays at receiver, so that or safety is going to be where he ends up in college (assuming he's not going for hoops at the next level). Having said that, he's still going to have a monster year as a high school QB.

Most would say he's been better at basketball majority of his life. He and Taylen Kinney(top 15 player in nation from Newport) were the starting two guards on their travel/club team pretty much all through elementary and middle school. Won the national championship in 8th grade. Cash is just a flat out stud but smaller in stature so most likely D2/3 future.

How about a D1 slot receiver?  Outstanding hands, fast/quick, elusive and smart.  Propensity of producing big plays (Randall Cobb)?  Just wondering what you guys think.

He is really athletic and twitched up, but I would be pretty surprised to see him go FBS right out of high school. With schools seemingly only taking 15-20 high school commits now and going heavy portal, I think it would take a pretty insane camp showing to offer a probably 5'9 kid with no receiver tape to fit in one of those spots.

I also think less college teams are running 10 personnel (4 WRs/1 RB) air raid style systems than they were around a decade ago and where Cash's quickness would shine like Edelman/Welker/you know the stereotype. I could see some lower FCS teams looking at him however. As you guys know with college recruiting, almost all of the eval is on physical athletic traits compared to high school production or even position technique. Right or wrong, the college coaches just want a big athletic guy in there and they can coach them up.

Tanner is son of Cov Cath varsity soccer coach Jeremy Robertson and is also on the soccer team. Logan Zembrodt was kicking last year for the freshman team and had a very nice leg as a freshman. He was moved up to varsity after the freshman season ended.

Tanner's kickoff in Gronotte's tweet looks solid - nice and high, decent hang-time. I wonder if this will be another year for the Colonels with one kicker handling kickoff duties and a different kicker handling PAT/FG duties.

RB: Dylan Gaiser 

WR: Zac Brooks and Mac Cogswell/Donovan Bradshaw (assuming he plays) on the outside, Logan Sanning in the slot.

TE: Owen Pitzer, Brady Guard, Cash Myers

OT: Jonny Lind, Landon Robinson (Landon is future FCS or higher IOL in my opinion)

IOL: two of Tucker Evans, Charlie Reeves, Mitchell Woolf, Ryan Haas, Colin Vinson 

IDL: Lind plus a rotation of the IOL guys.

Edge: Brady Guard

ILB: Owen Pitzer, Cash Myers/Evan Link

Slot Defender: Jackson Payne

CB: Gaiser and Brooks 

S: Harney and Sanning + Gabe Weis as safety 3 spelling Cash.

There's a saying in college coaching, "If you run your QB, you better have two." While obviously not college, there are a lot of big physical teams on the schedule that I would not be surprised if at Cash's stature, we're needing to play or finish a game or two with him not out there. 

Will be interesting to be see if that's Dylan Gaiser (was the Freshman QB in his class) bumping over from RB and Eviston just running him or Dylan Courtney (Really talented freshman QB last year) getting those reps.
