UGA QB Carson Beck expected to miss the playoffs according to several reports coming out of Athens this afternoon. 

How much does that diminish Georgia's shot at a title?

Round 1 was pretty ugly for the first expanded playoff and I believe there will be plenty more ugly first round games to come and they will become uglier if expanded further. I know everyone has various opinions but I think they still got the teams chosen right based on those in or out going by what everyone did on their overall seasons. If anyone felt most left out, I’d nominate South Carolina. Regardless, it’s been a funner college football season to watch for me in quite a while. Overall, I think we will see better games next round.

Tennessee had the worst showing or it was equal with SMU. Either way they looked very bad.
