Ganaway for God sakes!  I don’t care about how many passing yards - I care about W’s.  I’m all about using multiple backs during the game and giving good athletes a chance with the ball.  Where I think O sucked is they anoint a QB/RB grade 7 and 8….and then seniority matters….unless it’s an Evan Hampton situation.  Give plenty if guys time to shine…let amazing athletes on defense get to play some offense….

Evan Hampton needs to touch it 25 times a game at least.  I don’t care how, but he does.  
 

He’s that kind of talent at RB & the thing I like about him? The more he gets it? The tougher he becomes.

With several former coaches in administration at OHS and a solid group of Owensboro guys on staff...are they nervous about going outside of the "family" in fears there might be a different direction?

I just can’t help to think what these players are thinking. Are they staying grounded?  Are they thinking this is a total cluster and possibly wanting to leave?  Do they have faith and hope the administration will put a coach in the position to help them get where they want to be?  
 

Grant it, the year just started, but where are these kids heads!!

As a parent it's been frustrating. I understand the administration has to do and go through the process of hiring a good candidate. However, the frustration is what I hear from other parents of what' going on. So we are just hoping everything works out and support whoever they hire. I know I will give them my full support, but we just want to see some action soon. We think 2 months is a long time and seeing other schools get coaches hired within a month and some even 2 weeks. I just saw on social media the LCA coach resigned and that day the assistant  head coach was hired. I guess that's the reason he had the title assistant head coach. It's just been frustrating.

They made a great hire practically immediately, no doubt about that.

However, they also didn't have to find a teaching job for him either. As a matter of fact, I'm about positive that not a single coach on LCA's staff teaches in the building and/or LCA schools....including Coach Charles that just retired.

Ok. So why not go ahead and hire Hall or Barnes? They are both in house and both have jobs in the school.

I can't disagree there if either or both want it. 

I meant the above in case they were looking at getting somebody from the outside as to why things maybe haven't worked out yet.

So, after 2 months you don't know at this point who you are going to hire?  Is that really the case?

I have to believe from afar that they know or at minimum know of their top 2.

To hire after the Super Bowl, why in the world would you wait this long.

It seems like the sled at Owensboro gets heavier to pull every single day now.

Really need any coach with good energy to come in and get the players coordinated and fired up.
