I don't follow CAL closely, but it's hard for me to imagine such (OR much) dissatisfaction among players & families associated with a back-to-back state championship team (that's also the # 1 Ranked RPI squad in their class) ?

This is just what I have heard from some families.  Frustrations on way coaching g staff is handling players, certain players "checking out".  

100% they is no reason for turmoil, I was surprised to hear as well, lots of negativity.  Complete opposite of what I am hearing from Central players.

All of this is hearsay from 5 to 10 connections per team,  just going with info that I have.  I have not witnessed any of this from my eyes, so take it for what it is.

You are absolutely correct, did not and will not name names, that would be detrimental to kids.  I am not here to convince you, simply stating what I know.   I feel it will be much better game this time around, but don't see anyone beating those Central SRs.

Central's going to hit the turf with as much swagger as we've seen from them in several years. They know what they did right the first time and believe they can do it again. For their sake, that confidence must lend itself to another fast start, because I think that's what it's going to take to end CAL's bid for a three-peat. They played a near perfect quarter and a half before the Centurions found their footing. Anything less than their best foot forward favors CAL, imo.

I do follow CAL closely as my son is associated with the program and trust me, nothing could be further from the truth.  You will always have a family or two who are dissatisfied at ANY program & it usually deals with playing time, but culturally, CAL is in a great place.

What you supposedly know is incorrect.  Sometimes people want things to be true & they’re not happy unless they’re miserable or have something to gossip about.  It’s sad & pathetic quite honestly.

Trouble shooting guide to claims of bad coaches and problems in a program. These are red flags that should cause the source of the complaint to be questioned:

1. Is the source a parent of a current player?

2. If yes, does the parent think their son should be playing more and/or getting the ball more?

3. If more than one parent complains, are the complaining parents friends?

You triggered sunshine?  There are always different perspectives doesn't mean one is more right than the other.  Simply means people I know are different than the people you know.  I don't like what I am hearing out of CAL program and like what I hear out of Central program. Central by 11+

Central may very well win, but CAL’s culture is just fine.  that's the point.  Now, it might not be for some folks who are there for only football & aren’t getting the PT that mom and dad think little Johnny deserves.  As far as triggered, no.  It will take a lot more than a few unfounded statements to “trigger” me.  It’s called a rebuttal.  But I guess in your world, you’re allowed to have a different perspective, but if someone else refutes it, then they’re triggered.  You go on and feel free to keep citing your anonymous “sources”.  Meanwhile I’ll go about my business enjoying a great school, great coaching staff who truly care for kids beyond the football field and multiple future state championships.  You have a good day & best of luck to both teams tonight.  May it be a competitive contest & both sides come out of it healthy.

I know nothing personally about the culture at CAL, just rumors, but I’ve personally spent a bunch of time inside the walls at Central High School and would challenge anyone to find a school that is more the lifeblood of the community/neighborhood than them. So much going on. The most impressive school in the state IMO.
