Gotta hand it to the folks at Fairdale. They ALWAYS have really good teams in this tourney. It’s supported very well and  run like a top notch tourney.

Typically comes out the first week of December.

I hope to make it this year.  This KOB should be a good one!

The bracket has been released. Should be another great tournament!

What do we think of these matchups?

Looking at these first round matchups and judging by what we know at this point (preseason), I think we should get a lot of good games in those first two nights. I am wrong to think Ashland-Woodford County looks the most appetizing?

How about a St. X vs. Trinity championship game?

Would be WILD!!

We are a couple of weeks away from my favorite holiday tradition and that is the King of the Bluegrass.

I have been going to this tournament every year for my whole life and I have so many memories.

This years field is loaded and I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on it.

The dates are December 18th thru December 22nd at Fairdale High School.

Who do you think will win it? Who will be coming out to this great tournament?

I'll definitely make it out a night or two. Always do.

Wed, Dec 18 at Fairdale (Round 1)
Adair County vs. North Oldham - 4:30pm
Fairdale vs. Butler County - 6:00pm
Lloyd Memorial vs. St. Xavier - 7:30pm
Bryan Station vs. Newport - 9:00pm

Thurs, Dec 19 at Fairdale (Round 1)
Bryant (AR) vs. Mater Lakes (FL) - 4:30pm
Frederick Douglass vs. Male - 6:00pm
South Laurel vs. Trinity - 7:30pm
Ashland vs. Woodford County - 9:00pm

Will this be streamed anywhere? Would love to be able to watch the games even it costs.

I knew prior years were on there but maybe I missed it when I looked earlier for the upcoming games.

I just took a look at the NFHS upcoming games and I don't see any listed from the KOB.
