Agree. Cats had a nearly 8 minute spell early in the second half where I'm pretty sure we didn't run one set and looked selfish. That combined with the dumb fouls and careless turnovers was crushing. 

 

Points off turnovers margin was 18 to 4 in favor of the Aggies.

Give A&M credit. That’s the type of team UK can’t deal with. In a 7 game series they would win it in 6.

Second chance points:  26-9 in favor of the Aggies

Just flat out got out played in pretty much all facets.

Wagner is the best on ball defender of the four guards, and he's far from great.

For Dillingham to be as bad as he is...it's frustrating because he's often the quickest player on the floor.

Love it...... when I was coaching I called it the "matador defense".....get out of the way and yell ole! Got a good laugh but they understood what I meant.

Since the field expanded nearly 40 years ago, no team that didn’t reach its conference semifinal round has won the NCAA championship.

This is true and tells the story. For all the defensive shortcomings, this was an even game except turnovers. Just make the simple plays. UK lost turnover stat 14-5. It was 5-8 plays in the game that made the difference. 

UK did not have the level of defensive intensity needed to win that game. Same problem as all year, too soft. Every game needs to be a brawl. In every game I  want to see the defensive intensity UK showed when they beat Auburn  Go to battle men and the talent will get you the win.
