He's not going to get fired.  But this is pretty inexcusable.  In no world should a team this talented give up 97 points TWICE in losses to this A&M team. 

No, none, nadda, zilch, not one bit of perimeter defense to stop the drive. Weak sauce perimeter play. Probably got out rebounded on the board, but it's hard to grab a rebound when you can't make the other team miss. 

 

All that said, A&M will never be able to repeat that effort. They played way above their ceiling.

I know because Barnhardt is too inlove with Cal to get rid of him. I'm just as tired of the same ole blah blah blah that comes out of Cal's mouth and every year we're always sent home early, as the next person. We haven't won an SEC Championship in 6 years.

Our 5 guards: Sheppard, Dillingham, Reeves, Wagner, and Edwards combined for 64 points.

A&M 3 guards: Taylor, Radford, and Obaseki combined for 72 points.

It was kinda crazy how easy A&M was getting buckets.

If we come out next week like we did tonight it will make the 5th straight year we have not made it out of the first weekend. We currently have last got out of the first weekend of the NCAA tourney in 2019.

So many bad turnovers. So many wide open 3s. So many layups. Just completely sad defense. Embarassing.

They make Taylor and Radford look like All Americans both times. Really like Radford's game.

Kinda can't say 5th year when there wasn't a first weekend to get out of in 2020, but the point is still strong.

Yeah, they just repeated from an earlier game against, who was it, oh yeah, now I remember 

I said it in the Duke thread, so it's only fair I put it in here too...

Read on Twitter that no team who didn't make their conference semi finals have gone on to win the National Championship since the tournament expanded in 1985.

A team that WANTS to win but just not willing to DO what it takes to win
