Final from Rupp a lot better game for the Cats tonight other than the turnovers. Now on to the big road game Saturday at Auburn.

What a big game that will be!!!

Clean up turnovers and I love this team…..hope they can start a winning streak on Saturday!!!

Defense intensity showed up tonight….

Good win. Defense was better, and just overall solid game. Hopefully Mitchell isn’t out for the season with that shoulder.

Raise your hand if you thought Big O would be the most productive big before the season started

No, but I am not surprised. I thought he was very under utilized by Cal last year.

So many bad and unforced turnovers but that's about the only bad thing you can say about tonight. Solid the rest of the way.

I thought he was being overlooked by a lot of folks which I didn't understand. I know it's hard to look at stats one year and project them for the following with increased playing time.  But with that said, Onyenso and Tshiebwe were the only two UK players to average one block per game last year, but Onyenso did it while averaging less than 7 minutes a game last year.  I had faith that his defense would carry over and improve.  The offense is still a long ways to go but he's athletic enough to get 8-10 points a game just by hustling and rebounding on offense.

Block party at Rupp last night.

Feels like Justin Edwards is playing a little bit better with every passing game. Really like how aggressive he is being to get into the lane. Be great if he keeps it up and kicks out to any of or rock solid three point shooters.

I've thought from the start he could be a three-level threat with the ability to own the mid-range.

Nice win for the Cats, little better defense, turnovers has to be corrected.

I agree. I thought he had some of the most potential of the bunch. Just took a while to figure it out.

Thankfully as a whole team, those haven't been a problem really this year like they were last night.

But there sure is one or two individuals that just haven't learned to make better decisions and always have 1-2 just really bad unforced turnovers most games. Need them to clean it up.

Yep. The turnovers I'm not too concerned with as it was out of character for this squad.

The thing with a lot UK's turnovers is they are real head scratchers. Typically you have a good defensive play made or an unforced error or two, but each game there are a handful of "what are you doing" type turnovers.

This might be the only team in basketball history where a live ball turnover is better than one where the other team takes it out because UK does have a weird ability to defend scrambling type plays with their athleticism. If UK has to "defend" for a possession, advantage offense.
