I like Trinity to win the next three 6A titles and not lose to any KY teams as long as their QB stays healthy.

That is a tall order sir! You don't think the boys at Male will have anything to say about this?

And here's the thing, I'm ok if they don't call. Boyle has a great program and they have endured over the last several decades in their division. They do it the right way and Coaches Haddix and Smith

  • Trinity RB, Clint Sansbury, and receiver/RB, Luke Sasser, have both committed to Centre College.   Coach Frye is getting two good, hard-working young men.

  • On the bandwagon.

I do along with X and Douglass!

But, you have my bold prediction. ?‍♀️

No they don't, or they would put us on the schedule...Lynn is in the same space as Quick, Moore, McBroom, Dutton, Radcliff, etc.

Do you mean Quisenberry?

1. Boyle would have beat T in 2023 and look no further than their comparative FD score to see the obvious... great run by T in '23, but stay in your lane.

2. Best I can tell, Lynn holds an offer from EKU (if wrong on this, my apologies)... are you comparing him to a WR with a Michigan offer (Quisenberry)?

What did Calpreps say about that?  Tp94?

I don't know myself but I am saying it would be close either way between Boyle and T.

Tell them to schedule us then...easy as that.

?  "Trinity should stay in their lane ... " That's a (para)phrase I never thought I'd read here.

That is a good point.  Not so much that Boyle should schedule Trinity but people have to understand the difference between playing a schedule like Trinity faced this year (basically every year) and the schedule Boyle played this year.  Two points here, one, T played a monster schedule and two, what would be left of Boyle after playing a schedule like Trinity?

I know this stuff may not sit well with the Boyle fans among us but Boyle County does NOT play a big boy schedule.

Oh, and if the two teams played, I would take the Shamrocks.

Trinity vs Boyle county would be close game that either team could win but since my power ratings went undefeated in championship games I would take Trinity in a close one but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Boyle County won since so many variables in a game that are hard to predict when teams are pretty equal. Maybe one day could have an open division where the best teams in the state battle for a true state champion.

Year in and year out, T is better than Boyle (and everyone in KY for that matter) because T draws the best players for the most part from a metropolitan pool that dwarfs what Boyle pulls from. T draws these great players because they have invested in being a place to come to if you are an elite player. NOBODY in KY can compete with what they have built over the history of the school, but in particular, the last 30 years.

That said, this T team was good, but far from what we have seen from T in the past. It was not loaded with high level JR and SR P5 D1 guys as it may well have in it's FR group. The most impactful player on T's roster this past year was a FR QB.

Boyle manhandled a Douglas team three weeks prior to T having to hold on for dear life to beat. Boyle was 14 points better than T this year. I'll say this as well, T would never have scored on Corbin this year (though I'm not sure Corbin would ever score on T either).

100% Boyle was the best team in KY in 2023. 2023 Boyle would have fared better against 2023 T's schedule than T did, and 2023 Boyle would have beat 2023 T by 14 or more (probably by 28 early in the season).

Please notice I said "2023" A LOT. One year is not history, nor is it the future.

I'm not sure who these "high level JR and SR P5 D1 guys" are, but you surely have us mistaken with someone else. More often than not, we are labeled a "system school" and overlooked for our kids. We have a few that went D-1 FBS in the last 15-20 years (UofL, Purdue, WKU, Colorado State, UK, etc.) but the majority of our kids end up at Centre, Georgetown or another solid lower division team to compete for playing time. Our program is built on developing young men into good athletes and better people.

We are not this elite-level boarding school for athletes you think us to be. We prepare hard, we practice hard, we play hard. With or without "high-level athletes." If you think you have the better team, put us on the schedule. But most don't.

Unfortunately for Boyle, they didn't schedule Trinity.

Boyle was the number one team in Cal Preps and the only team in the state undefeated. I don't think there's any "unfortunately for Boyle".

Nor is there for Trinity. I can assure you the Rocks are not concerned with people thinking Boyle was the best team in the state.
