yes that is true but you failed to mention that Fla. State also played Southern Miss (3-9) and North Alabama (3-8).

Alabama did also beat LSU, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Georgia all who are ranked. The only wins that Florida State have only beat 3 teams that are currently ranked in Louisville, Clemson and LSU.

SEC Network was 5 for 5 picking Georgia yesterday. Gameday was 3-2 Georgia. Vegas was Georgia. 

I know our boy @newarkcatholicfan has picked Bama for a couple of weeks.

Using the arguments and logic I am hearing the committee and talking heads, this should have been the final ranking:

1. Michigan ... ever so sightly

2. Washington

3. Alabama

4. Texas

5. Georgia

6. FSU

That is a SOS focused ranking. If SOS got Bama to #4, it should have put them #3 regardless of the loss to Texas. And Georgia should have been above FSU if they are so focused on SOS.

Corrected that for you. "Vegas" only sets an opening line. After that, the bettors determine where the line ends up.

Agreed.  But they utilized mixed logic, weakening their arguments.

What's done is done. Would've been a nice boost for FSU to get in but I'm not surprised it happened like this.

So eight people and something that is manipulated by betting.

Jordan Travis released a tweet saying how he wished he'd have broken his leg earlier in the season so they could see that the team is more than just the QB.  So there's that legacy for this decision by the committee.

Playing devil's advocate - Georgia lost their conference championship. The top 5 are the champions of the P5 conferences. The committee says FSU is the weakest of those champions at this point in the season.
