In 2002 WKU won it all entering the post-season as the 15th ranked team (keep in mind, they were not a #15 seed, but rather ranked in that 5-8 range of the 16 teams that made the playoffs. So starting in 2003, here is final regular season ranking of the teams that won it all: 3, 8, 5, 1, 5, 7, 2, 1, 4, 1, 1, 2, 2, 5, 4, 1, 1, 4, 3, and 1. This isn't March Madness.
