Hard to argue much with it, there are more teams than places for teams this year.

What would 7 through 12 look like as a teaser for next year?

Committee is a clown show. But it’s to be expected.

It looks like the committee is going to hang their hat on the strength of schedule. Alabama had the 5th toughest schedule and Florida State had the 55th toughest schedule.

Save the “Florida State won but it wasn’t pretty” crap. We watch low scoring SEC games all the time and they are chalked but to be great games.

Reminds me of NCAA basketball the year Kenyon Martin got hurt at UC. UC got dinged in the bracket because of Martin's injury.

The NCAA has skated through this for years and was very fortunate that the games basically settled this for them. Ironic to me that in the final year that thing they hoped never would happen, happened.

All that said, I am a huge proponent of strength of schedule in rankings and it is hard to deny Alabama's resume - as much as I don't want to see them in the playoff again.

Florida State may not be the best out of Alabama and Georgia, but I still believe they were robbed of the #4 spot based on the purpose of what the playoff was created for as it is in its last format of 4, particularly dubbing the “power conferences” as they did. I know that the ACC obviously wasn’t as strong this season, but it’s disrespectful and a joke in my opinion.
