Final a great win that really wasn't as close as the final score. A good game for the Cats. I hope the Wagner injury is not serious.

That was impressive.  Reed Sheppard was outstanding. 

Really not a lot to complain about in that game for Kentucky.  That second half was awesome to watch as a fan and I'm sure it will have the national media talking tonight and tomorrow.

 

Now with that said, I hope Wagner is OK and that they were just resting him the rest of the game as a precaution.  

Like @TheDeucesaid if the choice is between Reed and Wagner the choice is Reed.  And it ain’t close.

That was fun! Hopefully Wagner is ok, because he will be an important part to this team. However, it is nice having other options this year. I love how they spread the floor, share the ball, attack the rim and shoot and make three’s.

I've said this and I've heard others agree.  Right now, it's really nice having Reed and Dillingham coming off the bench as an instant spark on offense and defense.  I'm not saying Reed shouldn't start, but the current setup has worked out well. 

After tonight's game, Kentucky now has 146 assists on the season against only 57 turnovers.  That's almost unheard of.  

I agree, that was an impressive performance, as good as I’ve seen a KY team look since the 2015 team!!

In 86-87 we had Rexington, is Reed Arena next??

I've wanted to say this the last couple of games but it would have been just an eye roll against inferior talent but a few things I really like about this team:

1) The seem to have great ball movement. You really don't see any of the "hero" ball going on at all. The drive and kick, or swing the ball around quickly. The ball doesn't really stick on anyone. And often times when someone gets the ball on the wing, they are attacking immediately (e.g. Thiero and Wagner), shooting immediately (e.g. Shepherd, Dillingham, Reeves) or just moving it to the next day. It's very pleasing. The just seem really unselfish.

2) They play hard. Crashing the boards. Great in transition on offense and usually get back on defense.

3) They are just fun to watch. Its aesthetically pleasing basketball

Were people saying this? You could tell 2 minutes into the last year's all star games he was an elite player. I do think some had concerns he wouldn't get as much PT with the depth of guard talent UK has. But to Cal's credit, he's dispersed the minutes well with the backcourt (with the exception of Reeves), and Sheppard is part of the core he trusts. I like him coming off the bench.
