Taking into account that Kentucky usually plays at least one lesser opponent than A&M and the last several years the SEC west top to bottom has been tougher. However these are still pretty comparable numbers.

Word is Stoops was the choice but didn’t have final board approval. When the A&M fan base lashed out against the hire, A&M pivoted and took away the offer from Stoops.
