Congratulations to Covington! What a great game. We can’t make mistakes and drop balls like we did tonight and except to come out with a win against a opponent like Covington!

The bad snap on the punt was a killer, have to be able to execute that in your 14th game.   Flipped the scoreboard....and all of the momentum.

Paducah Tilghman is a good, good team. Easily the best opponent we've faced all year. Martels Carter is a hell of a player.

I've now seen them in person, and I fully understand it. Pitzer's run through Carter for the final CovCath TD was BIG BOY football.   Good luck against Boyle, Colonels.

PT only has 10 or 11 seniors, a very small departing class. 4 or 5 start I believe right off the top of my head. They should bring a lot of production back, but this will hurt all the way until next y

You were actually up 1 after CovCath went for two from 3 feet from the goal line, then lined up 15 feet from the goal line and ran east and west, and predictably got stopped.

It plays out the same way every year for teams.  The ones that make errors on special teams almost always lose.

*Cov Cath gets a big sack to end the half at 7-7*

Cov Cath runs off into the locker room and PT walks off the field before maybe a light jog to get into the locker room. Which team and culture do you think will make winning plays in the 2nd half of a close playoff game?

PT has a really good team and Carter is electric in space, but I thought Cov Cath was the more physical, more disciplined team and executed better.

I don’t get why PT’s DC went 2 high safeties with 6 in the box after they went up 14-7. That just let Cov Cath just march down the field running the ball when they were outnumbered in the box and Cov Cath didn’t have much interest in throwing.

The win is awesome, but Pitzer bulldozing Carter on the last TD run after he talked as much as he did all game is the cherry on top.

This is the most honest and insightful post I have seen in here in forever…..you could sense what was coming…..Ben Reeves again was a nightmare and rightfully so

Special teams, defense, offense.....the order for a championship!

Pitz hit the TRUCK STICK on Carter.

Fell behind 7-0 and 14-7 and responded both times. Solid win over a very good team.

Congrats Colonels on a well deserved hard fought win. These were 2 excellent teams going at it. PT, you have nothing to hang your heads for. Outstanding year and if you only lose 5-6 starters from both sides of the ball, I have no doubt you'll be back knocking on the door next year.

He was a stud all night. Same thing with Harney and Miller on defense. When Miller was in press vs Carter, he had him locked up.

The other observation on PT is there was a lot of walking on and off the field. They’re talented, but not THAT talented to get away with that mindset vs competition like Cov Cath. For as much as maybe I don’t always love EE’s playcalling, the culture aspect of the program he has to have an A+ on and it was the difference in the game IMO.
