Rocks get back to Kroger Field.

Douglass had a great year and I am sure they will have many more.

This is familiar, the Rocks in the finals. ?

Congratulations to Trinity! it was a heck of game between two great defenses. Best of luck next Saturday at Kroger Field!

For those Douglas Folks,

Akron Hoban 14-1 Will play Washington Massillon 15-0 for the Ship next week in D2 in Ohio.

Would like to see the Rocks play Hoban or Massillon next year, that would be sweet.

A heck of game between two good teams. Both teams defenses were great tonight it is sad someone had to lose. A tough loss for the Broncos who probably had over 150+ more total yards than the Shamrocks but two big turnovers in the redzone and a procedure that called back a touchdown before the half did the Broncos in tonight.

Frederick Douglass had a great year in 6A and will be heard from in the years to come. They return all of their skilled positions on offense. They will need to have kids to step up and replace their two power 5 D1 cornerbacks.

I think Massillon is the best team in Ohio. Especially at home. Always have been a fan of the Tigers.

Would be their first state title, on what, 50 years?  I'd say they are due.

For Trinity to win this game with their freshman QB struggling mightily against a fantastic Douglass defense tells you how Coach Cobb and his staff have partnered with the Shamrocks seniors to form a tough as nails, physical football team. The Trinity defense is also fantastic.

I thought Zane Johnson struggled a bit but he still threw two big TD passes for the Shamrocks. Trinity could not get the run going against the FD defense.

Trinity's defense was also outstanding. Some big plays from a lot of guys but have to say Brady McEnaney was super, Dane Morrow made plays all over the field but the other LB - Drew Davis - was the MVP for me. Had a ton of tackles, plus forced the fumble and recovered it in the fourth quarter.

Just a fun game all around. Congrats to coach Cobb!

Tried watching this today.  Got all the way to the 2 minute mark left in the game and the App crashed LOL.  Sadly there does not seems to be a way to fast forward and I had to start at the beginning again.
