Brown
This may be the most wide open class. No great Defense in the west. I would guess Highlands vs BG right now. Wouldn’t be shocked if both are upset though.
Royal Blue
If Highlands stays at #1 in the Rpi, does that give them home field all the way until the finals?

1963 BIRDS
Thanks for posting the RPI. It's like every thing else in my life. I don't know anything about it, but it can't be too bad with Highlands number one. ☺️ Go Birds!!! I see some familiar faces on the chain gang at HHS home games. Some are believed to be former Highlands football players. If I'm right they all played the same position. Glad to see immediate family members still supporting the program. If I'm not mistaken they have more more rings than most jewelry stores. (JK).
Runcible Owl
5️⃣ 5A RPI updated for Week 7 ~ Top 10 - Lots of high powered offensive output, with winners and losers scoring 50+ points last week. Highlands 58 Cooper 51 Bowling Green 57 Ohio Co. 0 Scott Co. 56 Collins 26 Owensboro 61 Apollo 21 • And that means for RPI purposes ... absolutely nothing. But it was kinda exciting wasn't it? Position changes from last week: 2. Southwestern; +4 4. Scott Co.; +4 5. Greenwood; +2 6. South Oldham; -1 7. North Laurel; -3 8. Bowling Green; -6 9. Owensboro; +1 Newcomer + 10. Collins; +2 Dropped out - 13. Cooper; - 6 🔗 khsaa.org/rpi_details
Devils Fan
I’m confused why did BG drop so much and GW improve?

My thought is: - For BG - you added Ohio County's 6th from the bottom .57145 and 1 win resume to the mix. - For GW - you add South Warren's 3rd from the top 1.111 resume to the mix. Look for both BG and GW to go down again this week regardless of score as they add Christian County and Ohio County, respectively. Whoever wins the BG vs South game will get a BIG RPI and District boost with that win. And the BG vs GW winner too.

Devils Fan
@Purple88 so GW loses to SW (the number 3 team) and goes plus 2. Cooper loses to Highlands(the number 1 team) and goes minus 6… This system is a little tricky.
BLUEHOUND
Head to Head doesn't matter as much as the total body of work for all opponents, and even the opponents opponents.

Greenwood adds South's RPI strength to the mix, but also South's opponents strength to the mix. That includes Manual, Southwestern and Henderson County who all have favorable RPI numbers. I assume the same is true for Cooper as well. Remembering they also lost (as you said).
